Community Capital Inc. is lead by a multidisciplinary team with deep expertise across real estate debt and equity financing, development, repurposing of assets, capital markets, and investment management. Together, we bring institutional rigor and hands-on execution to every engagement – ensuring clarity, accountability, and alignment from strategy through closing.
Marc leads the execution of the firm’s strategy across Community Capital’s debt and equity lending platforms in addition to overseeing the acquisition, asset management, and disposition of real estate over a number of investment platforms.
Marc has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry working extensively in both Asia and Canada. Marc has been a partner in Downing Street Realty Partners, a boutique real estate development company since 2011. Marc previously worked for an international real estate advisory firm, first based in Shanghai, China, followed by two years based in Singapore.
Marc holds an Honours BA in Geography (Urban Development) from Western University. He is licensed by the OSC as a Dealing Representative, by FSRA as the Principal Broker of Community Capital, and by RECO as the Principal Broker of Aria Real Estate Corp.
Reggie is responsible for sourcing and structuring mortgage and equity lending opportunities in addition to the management of the existing mortgage portfolio of Community Capital Inc.
Prior to joining Community Capital Inc. (formerly Downing Street Financial Inc.), Reggie worked in the real estate finance industry for one of the largest banks in the world as well as one of the largest non-bank lenders in Canada. Reggie’s prior roles consisted of mortgage origination, account management of existing loans, and the management of multiple debt and equity portfolios.
Reggie is a graduate of York University in Business with a specialization in Accounting. He is licensed by FSRA as a Mortgage Broker.
Stefan is responsible for underwriting and structuring mortgage and equity lending opportunities in addition to the management of the existing mortgage portfolio of Community Capital Inc., and pipeline of opportunities.
Prior to joining Community Capital Inc. (formerly Downing Street Financial Inc.), Stefan worked in the real estate finance industry for one of the largest non-bank lenders in Canada. Stefan’s prior roles consisted of mortgage underwriting, funding, and account management of existing loans.
Stefan is a graduate of Schulich School of Business at York University with a specialization in Finance and Economics. He is licensed by both RECO as a Realtor and by FSRA as a Mortgage Agent Level 2.
Guneet is responsible for supporting the mortgage origination team in underwriting and structuring mortgage and equity lending opportunities.
Prior to joining Community Capital Inc. (formerly Downing Street Financial Inc.), Guneet worked for one of the leading real estate brokerages in Toronto. Guneet’s prior roles consisted of loan administration, account management of existing loans, liaising with investors and solicitors, and building borrower relationships.
Guneet has a Postgraduate Diploma from Seneca College. She is licensed by FSRA as a Mortgage Agent Level 2.
Falon assists with mortgage administration and overseas the firm’s investor relations activities. Expertly managing investor communications and liaising with regulatory authorities in addition to supporting the Principal Broker and Chief Compliance Officer with compliance related issues.
Falon has five years of previous experience in the industry with a leading mortgage lender. Her prior position was the primary funding allocator, ensuring that all mortgage loans were authenticated and funded on their scheduled funding date.
Falon is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts program from Western University.
